Chantale Lachance, BA, OCT
Hamilton East–Stoney Creek is a community built on hard work, compassion, and opportunity. I’m running to be your Liberal candidate because I believe deeply in Canada’s future and because I believe that Hamilton East-Stoney Creek deserves principled, unifying, and truly community-driven representation in Ottawa.
Throughout my career, I’ve built a reputation for bringing people together, moving projects forward, meeting deadlines, and seeing the work through to the finish. I’m committed to answering the call to champion a stronger future for everyone who calls Hamilton East-Stoney Creek home. This is not a time for division.
It is not a time for petty politics or social-media theatrics. This is a time for unity. Hamilton East–Stoney Creek deserves serious representation focused on results.

Chantale Lachance, BA, OCT was born and raised in Hamilton and is fluently bilingual in both French and English, spoken and written.
As a young adult, she completed basic training with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, contributed to the Canadian Reforestation Initiative by planting trees in Western Canada, and played varsity soccer at the University of Ottawa. These experiences helped shape her resilience, discipline, and strong commitment to teamwork and service.
Driven by curiosity, courage, and a willingness to embrace new challenges, Chantale has built a career centered on education, leadership, and community engagement. She has been a member of the Ontario College of Teachers since 1997 and currently teaches English to newcomers from Africa at Académie catholique Mère-Teresa.
In 2011, she played a leadership role in implementing Ontario’s full-day, play-based kindergarten program, supporting educators as they adapted their teaching practices to this significant educational transition.
Chantale is also a certified Positive Discipline parent educator, certified life coach, digital literacy advocate, and proud mother of two young adults. In 2022, she was the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for Hamilton Mountain.
She is deeply committed to the well-being of Canadians, particularly the next generation, and believes in building a healthy, socially engaged society that preserves shared values while promoting the thoughtful and responsible use of technology. She also believes that East Hamilton–Stoney Creek deserves principled, unifying, and community-driven representation.
If elected to be your nominated candidate, Chantale’s priorities will include strengthening economic stability for families, advancing education and skills development, and improving access to affordable housing.
